This is a community for the brand new (so new, that it hasn't even premiered yet as of the time I'm writing this) GSN original game show Whammy!: The All-New Press Your Luck. Hosted by Todd Newton, this version comes from the original CBS game show Press Your Luck, hosted by Peter Tomarken that ran from 1983-1986 (which itself is based oh the even older game show Second Chance, hosted by Jim Peck, that ran for less than a year in 1977). Contestants answer questions in order to win "spins" that they used on an randomized board of moving lights. On the board were all kinds of prizes and cash that the contestants would win but also an annoying little critter known as the Whammy which, if landed on, would take everything that he or she won up to that point. Even though it has been canceled for 16 years, Press Your Luck still has a rather popular fan base who still remembers the days of "Big bucks and NOOOOOO Whammies!"

Will Whammy!: The All-New Press Your Luck live up to the popularity of its predecessor? Catch it on GSN (and if you don't have GSN, call your cable company and DEMAND its addition) at 10PM Eastern and the reruns at 1AM and 3:30 PM (the next day).
